Should I Take Garcinia Cambogia Before Or After Meals? Expert Opinion

Should I take Garcinia Cambogia before or after meals? Always take Garcinia Cambogia before meal. It works best when taken that way.

Why Take Garcinia Cambogia Before Meals

Garcinia must be absorbed into the body for it to have an effect. The absorption of Cambogia may be affected if there is food in the stomach. As such, Garcinia should be taken half an hour to an hour before food. This allows the supplement to be absorbed before any food is eaten, making it more effective.

Other than this obvious reason, you are better off taking Garcinia Cambogia to avoid gastric discomfort that would occur due to reactions with some food items. You simply want to avoid an unexpected supplement-food interaction.

With Clean Water

Experts recommend taking this supplement with a glass full of pure water to ensure quick absorption to the bloodstream. It would therefore be inappropriate to take your dose with other beverages such as: tea, coffee, chocolate milk or cola. Alcoholic drugs should also be avoided at all costs.

It should also be noted that Garcinia is fiber-rich. While this is beneficial to the body, the high fiber content will significantly slow gastric emptying and may cause gas or bowel movements. Those with regular stomach problems are advised to take this supplement at least one hour thirty minutes before meals to avoid “overloading” the digestive system.

Prevent Damage

Another reason why experts recommend taking this supplement on an empty stomach is because the contents of the capsule (for those taking Garcinia in capsule form) is not intended to be digested in the stomach. Digestive enzymes and stomach acid will destroy the contents of the capsule. If you take a Garcinia pill say with orange juice or milk, you have started up the digestive process and chances are, the pill is not going to make it to the duodenum without damage.

Simply put, there are many dramatic results that may be caused by food-garcinia and alcohol-food-garcinia interactions, and these vary from individual to individual. For instance HCA may bind to minerals in the food or adhere to food particles and therefore affect the supplement’s effectiveness. Experts caution that taking Garcinia with or after meals can lead to the enhancement or opposition of the effects of some of its effects.

Full Effect

Yet another reason why experts recommend taking this supplement some time before meals is to give it time to start operating in the body. If you take Garcinia one hour before meals, chances are you’ll eat less than you had probably planned to. In other words, by taking this supplement at least one hour before meals you’re allowing your body adequate time to respond to its (Garcinia) many positive benefits.

Bottom Line

Although there are no dire consequences for taking this supplement after food, one should always take their daily dose before main meals to make the most of their weight loss efforts. If for some reason you’re unable to take this supplement before meals, the next best alternative would be to pick a time of the day and stick to that hour every day.

We recommend pure garcinia cambogia. It’s one of the best product on the market and one of the few that goes in line with health experts Recommendations.

I have a question. I eat About ever four to eight hours. I have three pulls per day, but eat small meals about four times a day. How do I account for this? Some food I have to eat without a pill 30 mins prior due to no fourth pill.
