Garcinia Cambogia Vs Green Coffee Bean Extract – Who’s The King of Weight Loss?

The debate pitting Garcinia Cambogia Vs Green Coffee bean extract has been trending for a few months now. People are asking:

“Which of the two supplements is superior?”
“What are the downsides of each of the two products?”

We’ve found it wise to bring you up to speed with the facts behind the two supplements.

Origins Of Garcinia Cambogia And Green Coffee Bean Extract

Garcinia Cambogia VS Green Coffee Bean Extract

Garcinia Cambogia extract is harvested from the rind of a plant that goes by the same name. The mother plant is native to some parts of Southeast Asia and where it is used as a dietary addition. It is worth noting that while the fruit is grown in the east, most of the final processing takes place in the US under the watch of FDA and other authorities. This ensures that the final product you buy is 100% safe for you.

Green coffee on the other hand is derived from unroasted coffee beans. However, as this product is derived from the same plant as is the ordinary coffee, those who are allergic to caffeine should not take it. Some users of this product have reported difficulties sleeping due to the strong stimulating effects of the caffeine content in Green Bean Coffee extract.

Efficacy Of Garcinia VS Green Coffee

Both supplements are scientifically proven to aid in weight loss. Garcinia Cambogia however seems to be more efficient than green coffee because it’s highly flexible and “has no known side-effects”.

This makes it the number one choice for people who want to lose weight efficiently without compromising on their health. In the same vein, although Green Coffee is a respected product, there are quite a few complaints about its caffeine content. Too much caffeine may wreck havoc to your digestive system. It is therefore correct to say that Garcinia Cambogia is more efficient than Green Coffee.

Safety Of Garcinia Cambogia VS Green Coffee Extract

Scientific studies have shown that these two supplements are safe for human consumption. Green Coffee for instance helps stabilize your blood sugar level and therefore is seen as the safest choice for people with diabetes.

On the other hand, Garcinia Cambogia is a time-tested and proven supplement. It has been used for many years as an appetite suppressant with no major problems being reported from its consumption. This therefore means that it is safe as a long-term solution to weight loss. On the other hand, studies to understand the long-term effects of Green Coffee to consumers are still underway. In the meantime, the only trustworthy weight loss supplement seems to be Garcinia Cambogia (the time-tested and proven of the two).

Benefits To Health

One similarity between the two supplements is that they are both 100% natural (provided you get them from a reputable seller). Garcinia Cambogia has loads of benefits to your health. For starters, it boosts your metabolic rate, leaving you feeling stronger and more elated. The revered supplement also increases your serotonin level thereby giving you a “feel-good” mood. People who use this supplement are better able to fight cravings and to resist the urge of emotional eating.

Green Coffee on the other hand reduces blood pressure and stabilizes blood sugar level. It’s also rich in anti-oxidant meaning that it can help fight aging. In terms of benefits to health, the battle of Garcinia Cambogia Vs Green Coffee bean extract ends in a barren draw!

Ingredients In Both Supplements

Garcinia Cambogia’s main ingredient, Hydroxycitric acid, is a household name in the weight loss industry. It has been successfully used in a variety of products in the past. It’s no wonder scientists tout it as the next biggest thing in the battle of the bulge. Chlorogenic acid, the main ingredient in Green Coffee, is best known for its strong anti-oxidant properties. Scientific tests show that Chlorogenic acid can double the rate of oxygen radicals absorbing capacity thereby destroying harmful free radicals. This slows down the onset of aging.

Are There Any Precautions To Take?

Both products should not be used without the advice of a professional if you are: pregnant, nursing, under 18 or have a known medical condition.

Bottom Line – The Final Verdict

As the debate on Garcinia Cambogia Vs Green Coffee bean extract rages on, it’s upon you to make a wise decision on which product to use. Both seem to be touted as effective to some degree. Garcinia Cambogia however seems to have an upper hand due to its safety and reliability in the long-run.

I also tried Green Coffee and it worked. I stopped because I didn’t like the filling while taken it.

I HAVE HAD SOME SUCCESS WITH GREEN COFFEE BEAN, BUT AM CONSIDERING COMBINING IT WITH GARCINIA CAMBOGIA. DO YOU HAVE AN OPINION AS TO THE SAFETY, AND EFFICACY?

    • You can indeed take garcinia cambogia with other supplements but I would advise that you speak with your health care provider so they can address the dosage requirements when taking both supplements together.
